Umluj is a Saudi city, which is the metropolis and center of Umluj Governorate, and it has a port on the Red Sea in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it is close to the city of Yanbu, 130 km away from it, and about 500 km south of Tabuk, the administrative capital. It is located on the Red Sea coast between the city of Al-Wajh in the north and the city of Yanbu in the south, and is about (500 km) from the city of Tabuk to the southwest. It is one of the ancient historical sites, and it is one of the cities of Tabuk, and the city has revived and expanded in the present era and the movement of commercial, urban and educational activity in the city has increased and this movement was significantly active after the opening of the sea road between Daba (280 km north of Umluj) on the Saudi side and Safaja on the Egyptian side.
